<p>Newly orphaned baby opossums have been rescued from a Hanover interstate by passing troopers from the Virginia State Police.</p><p>The marsupials were making their way away from the road where their mother had just died when State Trooper’s MacDougall and Fleenor spotted them.</p><p>The post shared to Facebook</a> on August 2 shows the troopers holding the little animals.</p><p>The troopers brought the 10 marsupials to the Area Rehabbers Klub wildlife center, “to get the care they need” according to the post.
