Armed with an Evolve GT electric skateboard, rider Nick Druce decided to film himself climbing one of the steepest Surrey Hills, in an area used for the motor-fest "The Shere Hill Climb".<br /><br />Captured on the evening of August 5, Druce set a speed precedent of 26mph up a 13 per cent incline hill, being the first recorded case of an electric skateboard to do so. <br /><br />Riding electric longboards since 2006, Druce has been testing these boards as an alternative form of urban commuting technique, himself making a 6-mile commute regularly on his board.
