Officials from the two Koreas will visit North Korea's Mount Kumgang today on a research mission for future forestation projects.<br /> A group of around ten officials from Seoul's Unification Ministry and the Forest Service will cross the eastern land border for the one-day trip.<br />The visit will focus on checking pests in the area and identifying if there are any diseases affecting the plants and trees.<br />They hope to determine which types of insecticides or pesticides they'll have to use.<br />The trip comes after North Korea requested they specifically visit Mount Kumgang.<br />The two Koreas agreed to cooperate for forestation in North Korea at their forestry talks a month ago. <br />
