Pressure is mounting on the UK's former foreign secretary Boris Johnson to apologize for his controversial remarks about Muslim women wearing burqas.<br /> He has faced fierce criticism for comparing women wearing the conservative Islamic dress to letter boxes and bank robbers. <br />Prime Minister Theresa May joined in the chorus of calls for Johnson to apologize. <br /><br /> "It's very clear that the language Boris Johnson used to describe people's appearance, has caused offence. It's not language I would've used, I think it was wrong to have used that language"<br /><br />Johnson is yet to issue a response. <br />
