Sales at duty-free shops on Korea's resort island of Jeju reached an all-time high in the second quarter, thanks mainly to the return of Chinese tourists.<br /> According to Statistics Korea, the figures from April to June were up 58 percent on-year. <br />The number of foreign visitors to Jeju International Airport also jumped 140 percent compared to the same period last year. <br />The contributing factor is the rebound in Chinese tourists, after numbers dipped when Beijing took retaliatory measures against Seoul over a defense upgrade. <br />
