인류 최초 태양 탐사선 11일 '태양속으로' 대장정 올라<br /><br /> NASA’s Parker Solar Probe, named after astro-physicist Eugene Park, will fly to the sun, taking us closer to its surface than any other mission in history. <br /> The car-sized spacecraft will be launched from Florida’s Cape Canaveral on Saturday at around 3:50 am eastern standard time.<br />The one-point-five billion dollar mission aims to discover why the corona, the sun's atmosphere..., is so much hotter than it's surface, and also to investigate the cause of solar winds.<br />With a carbon heat shield, the probe will travel to within six-point-one million kilometers of the sun’s surface.<br />After making its closest approach in late 2024, the spacecraft will run out of fuel and be destroyed. <br />
