A caravan was washed downriver after heavy thunderstorms caused flooding in the south of France.<br /><br />Footage captured yesterday (August 9) on the Cascades du Sautadet, a river near Bagnols-Sur-Cèze, shows the trailer being washed away by the swollen stream. <br /><br />Thousands of homes are thought to have been damaged and images posted on social media show severe flooding in towns and villages.<br /><br />The filmer writes: "It took all that was in its path.<br /><br />"Within a few hours, the water level raised a few meters."
