A man pushes his belongings through a waterlogged campsite in France after heavy thunderstorms caused flooding across large parts of the country's south.<br /><br />Footage captured on August 9 in St Martin d'Ardèche shows the aftermath of the vicious storms.<br /><br />The filmer, tourist James Ryle from Bristol, writes: "The storm came in one the second to last day of our camping holiday at St Martin d’Ardeche. <br /><br />"Within two hours, run-off from the hillside above had left our part of the campsite in two feet of water. <br /><br />"We managed to clear most - but not all - of our belongings from our rented tent with the help of the kayak we’d taken to use on the nearby river. <br /><br />"The whole site was later evacuated when rising water levels in the river caused widespread flooding and damage to tents, caravans and holiday lodges.
