<p>Several thousand people were forced to evacuate their homes due to high-water levels of the Marikina River in the metropolitan area of Manila, Philippines, on Saturday, August 11.</p><p>The Marikina Public Information Office said the river level reached dangerous levels by 9:13 pm local time.
