According to comicbook.com, Chris Pine may not be back for "Star Trek 4"<br />Contract negotiations have hit a snag and THR reports that talks have fallen through.<br />This means Paramount may have to "boldly go" ahead without Captain James T. Kirk.<br />Additionally, plans for Chris Hemsworth to return to the franchise might be in peril.<br />Hemsworth played Kirk's father in J.J. Abrams' 2009 cinematic reboot.<br />There had been discussion that the upcoming film would be a time-travel adventure. <br />
