Perseid meteors streaked across the sky on Saturday night, 24 hours before they were due to peak.<br /><br />This clip was captured in the Swiss Alps in Valais Canton.<br /><br />The annual Perseid meteor shower should be even more spectacular on Sunday night when up to 70 shooting stars an hour will be visible.
