<p>Heavy flooding in the Philippines failed to dampen the spirits of a young couple, who exchanged their vows in a flooded church in Bulacan, north of Manila, on Saturday August 11.</p><p>On Saturday morning, Jobel de los Angeles left her family home in Sagrada Familia, hoisting up her white dress while wading through ankle-deep floodwaters in an attempt to reach the Santo Rosario Parish Church to marry Jefferson, the father of her two children and her partner of seven years.</p><p>The 24-year-old bride told the AFP</a> that she took a boat to the church after a taxi refused to take her, while the groom wore flip-flops with his suit.</p><p>Video taken by the bride’s aunt, Teresa Halipot, shows the her walking through flooded streets and down the aisle.
