A large fire broke out at a mill in Rochdale on August 13, forcing the evacuation of dozens of residents.<br /><br />According to local media, emergency crews were called to the scene at around 10:30 pm. Over 50 firefighters were involved in tackling the blaze.<br /><br />Locals described being able to see flames and smoke from miles away, the crackling sounding like fireworks being set off.<br /><br />Authorities advised the public to stay away from the area and close their windows and doors. The cause of the fire has not been reported.
