<br /> Despite previous reports, Comicbook.com says that Michael Bay is not making the new Dora the Explorer movie.<br />The Transformer series director/producer is slated to work on actioner 6 Underground. <br /> Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures' is behind the new Dora the Explorer movie, opening in theaters on August 2, 2019.<br />James Bobin will direct Dora alongside producer, Kristin Burr (Disney’s Christopher Robin).<br />17-year-old Isabela Moner will play the title role of a high school-aged Dora. <br />
