<p>A fire sparked at a recycling plant in Salford on the early evening of August 14, sending billowing plumes of smoke up above the surrounding Greater Manchester area.</p><p>According to a press release from Manchester Fire</a>, 50 firefighters and six fire engines from Broughton, Salford, Manchester Central, Atherton, Moss Side and Eccles were dispatched to subdue the blaze, which was burning along Salford’s Frederick Road.</p><p>This video shows smoke from the fire.
