<p>A recycling plant fire in Salford on August 14 sent dark smoke rising above the surrounding Greater Manchester area and, according to a press release from Manchester Fire</a>, brought 50 firefighters and six fire engines to the scene.</p><p>Crews and equipment came from Broughton, Salford, Manchester Central, Atherton, Moss Side and Eccles to subdue the blaze, burning along Salford’s Frederick Road.</p><p>This video shows a distant view of smoke from the fire.
