This is the dramatic moment a lorry loaded with chemicals exploded in eastern China on Tuesday.<br /><br />According to local media, the vehicle was carrying calcium carbide which became wet, causing the blast. <br /><br />The explosion shattered the windows of nearby buildings in Jining City in Shandong Province and also damaged several vehicles.<br /><br />Several people were taken to a local hospital, although the driver of the lorry emerged uninjured from the blast.
