South Korea and the U.S. are currently discussing repatriating to South Korea.... dozens of war remains currently stored in the U.S. state of Hawaii.<br /> The U.S. informed Seoul's defense ministry that around 1-hundred-80 sets of war remains in Hawaii.... are estimated to be of Asian descent based on DNA testing,... and 35 of them are highly likely to be South Korean. <br />A military official at Seoul's defense ministry told Arirang News this morning that,... officials at South Korea's MND Agency for Killed-in-action Recovery and Identification..... will depart to the U.S. next week to carry out further tests on the remains.<br />The roughly 1-hundred-80 sets of remains were either sent by North Korea to the U.S. or were discovered through North Korea-U.S. joint digs between 1995 and 2005. <br />
