Lava Seen Spurting From Indonesian Volcano Short Distance From Danger Zone

<p>The eruptive activity of Anak Krakatau volcano off Indonesia, was captured on August 5 by Norwegian freelance photographer Oystein Lund Andersen.</p><p>Lava can be seen spurting from the volcanic crater in the footage captured just two kilometres away from the danger zone.</p><p>Oystein told Storyful that he witnessed, “lava bombs from the eruption being ejected to several hundred meters above the crater.”</p><p>This volcano has been dubbed the ‘Child of Krakatoa’ by geologists who believe</a> that it is the descended from the infamous Krakatoa volcano that erupted in 1883 killing tens of thousands of people.
