<p>A video of a schoolboy who climbed a metres-high flagpole during an Independence Day flag-raising ceremony on August 17 at Indonesia’s Motaain checkpoint, which borders Timor Leste, has gone viral.</p><p>According to Ika Silalahi, who shared the video on Facebook, “the little kid from Atambua” made a daring act to fix the flagpole rope and continued to climb to the top although Deputy Regent JT Ose Luan asked him to stop. Ika also shared a photo of the boy standing proudly next to the deputy regent at the podium.</p><p>The schoolboy was identified by the local media</a> as Yohanes Andigala, a Year 7 student from Silawan village.
