India's hopes of a series win against England are teetering ahead of the third Test at Trent Bridge.<br />The tourists were completely outplayed in the second Test with England winning by an innings and 159 runs to leave them trailing 2-0 with three Tests left to play.<br />The biggest issue for India has been the form of the team's top order.<br />Captain Virat Kohli has been the only batsman to score more than 26 runs in an innings this series.<br />India's team management are now toying with the idea of playing an additional batsman if the pitch at Trent Bridge appears friendly to bowlers.<br />"It's not about saving one discipline, it's about one discipline taking responsibility of their job and the other discipline taking responsibility of theirs," said Kohli.<br />While Kohli has managed a series-high 240 runs, the 29-year-old struggled with a back complaint during the second Test at Lord's.<br />Kohli is adamant he has been able to manage the problem and will be at full fitness for the third Test.
