남북, 경의선 개성-평양 고속도로 구간 현지조사 실시<br /><br /> The two Koreas have completed a joint inspection of major roads in the North... between the capital of Pyongyang and the industrial city of Kaesong.<br />Roads they ultimately want to connect to South Korea.<br /> According to the unification ministry, the eight-day survey ended today, after a team of 28 members from both sides examined 1-hundred-61 kilometers of road, 89 bridges... and 18 tunnels.<br />The two sides agreed in the Panmunjom Declaration in April... to modernize the Pyongyang-Kaesong highway,... and conduct on-site inspections to see whether it's feasible.<br />The South and North previously agreed to restore the motorway in 2007.<br />Seoul plans to analyze and review the findings of the latest study,... and is now coordinating a schedule to inspect the Gyeongui and Donghae roads... on the Peninsula's west and east sides, respectively. <br />
