India look well set to win the Third Test at Trent Bridge in Nottingham and reduce their arrears in the five-match series to 2-1 with two matches to play.<br />They set England an almost impossible 521 to win the match after captain Virat Kohli scored a second innings century in India's 352 for 7 declared.<br />At the close, England openers Alastair Cook and Keaton Jennings survived to reach 23 without loss, still needing a mammoth 498 runs to win.<br />After dominating the first two days, India's batsmen were intent on putting England out of trhe match and they achieved this thanks to Kohli's 103.<br />It was Kohli's 23rd Test century and he also passed Mohammed Azharuddin's record for most runs in a series in England by an Indian captain.<br />He was joined by Chetashwar Pujara who made 72 in a third-wicket stand with his skipper of 113.<br />
