Almost all of southern Wisconsin was put under a flash flood watch on Monday afternoon (August 20) as heavy rain pelted down in the city.<br /><br />This video, shared to Facebook by Megan Kennedy, shows the flooding situation along Mineral Point Road near West Towne Mall.<br /><br />Madison police said that the department had received reports of flooding at over 40 intersections from commuters. One rescue was conducted along Mineral Point Road, a part of which was shut down on Monday evening.<br /><br />Warnings were in place overnight Monday into Tuesday morning, with more rain expected throughout the evening.
