<p>The first bands of Hurricane Lane touched Hawaii’s Big Island on Tuesday, August 21, as the Central Pacific Hurricane Center issued hurricane watches for Maui and Hawaii counties.</p><p>Lane was a Category 4 storm</a> at 8am Tuesday, with top winds at 155 mph.
