A 95-year-old suspected Nazi war criminal living in the United States has been deported to Germany. <br /> Jakiw Palij (Yakif Paly) lived in New York City and is accused of lying about his wartime work when he immigrated to the U.S. <br />He has denied allegations that he worked at a Nazi camp, saying he only served as a Nazi guard because his family was threatened.<br />He was stripped of his American citizenship in 2003 and his deportation was ordered about a year later, but for more than a decade no country would take him in.<br />Palij is however unlikely to be prosecuted in Germany due to a lack of evidence. <br />
