Venezuela's northern coast has been rocked by a powerful 7-point-3-magnitude earthquake.<br /> It struck late Tuesday afternoon, local time,.... some 40 kilometers east of the city of Carupano.<br />The tremor could be felt more than 6-hundred kilometers away in the Caracas,.... where people were evacuated from buildings.<br />The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center had issued an initial tsunami warning for the Venezuelan coast... but later updated its alert, stating... "there's no tsunami threat from this earthquake."<br />Although there are reports of building damages and power outages in some areas... no injuries or deaths from the quake were immediately reported. <br />
