A woman named Sunitha refused to be evacuated from her home during flooding in Kerala, India, without her 25 dogs, AFP reported.<br /><br />Sally Varma of Humane Society International told AFP that Sunitha “sent back volunteers and rescue officials because they said they could not evacuate her dogs.”<br /><br />Sunitha, her husband and all of her dogs were eventually rescued and brought to a shelter.<br /><br />In the video, Sunitha, along with her husband and dogs, can be seen at their home in Thrissur after the floodwaters receded.<br /><br />Varma started a fundraiser so a kennel could be built at Sunitha's home, AFP reported.
