We start with Typhoon Soulik.<br />The system --- which is weakening -- is moving in a northeast direction at a speed of 30 kilometers an hour,... to the eastern coast of nation. <br />Soulik has now moved out of Chungcheongbuk-do Province.<br />In Cheongju for us,... is our Choi Si-young.<br />Si-young, how's the weather looking down there?<br /><br /> Well, Mark. <br />The eye of Typhoon Soulik passed through Daejeon and also Chungcheongbuk-do Province.<br />As you can see, it's only raining lightly here right now,... and wind is weak.<br />But a typhoon advisory is STILL in place.<br />The weather agency forecasts up to 80 millimeters of rainfall in the area.<br /><br /> In nearby Chungcheongnam-do Province, about 90 schools are closed for the day,... middle and high school students are likely to go to school later than usual. <br />In Sejong, all schools are shut down.<br /><br /> The typhoon's trajectory has shifted from its earlier projection.<br />The weather agency forecasts that Soulik will hit Gangneung at around noon before moving into the East Sea.<br /><br />I will keep you posted throughout the day.
