<p>Pop star Pink stopped her concert in Brisbane, Australia, on August 22 to embrace a teenage fan after learning that the 14-year-old’s mother had recently died.</p><p>The 38-year-old American singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, spotted Leah Murphy’s sign that she would “love a hug” after she was bereaved.</p><p>Footage captured by Leah’s aunt Katrina Donkin and her friend Jade Rocci shows the singer moving through the crowd to comfort Leah. She can then be seen giving her a hug and autographing her arm before taking a selfie with her.</p><p>Ahead of Wednesday night’s concert, fan Leah created a number of signs which read; “Hi, my name’s Leah. I’m 14 years old and I just lost my beautiful mum. I would love a hug”.</p><p>The signs were passed around by fans in the audience until one reached Pink onstage, Sunrise reported</a>.
