Typhoon Soulik crossed the Korean peninsula and as it continues to drift northeasterly,... it's expected to weaken into a low-pressure front.<br /><br /> As of 4 PM, most typhoon alerts were lifted,... but the east coast is still under a strong wind alert.<br /><br /> The influenced of the storm will linger through the evening.<br />So, most of the northern areas including Seoul will receive between 5 and 40 millimeters of rain while northeast Gangwon-do Province will see up to 120 millimeters until tonight.<br /><br /> Saturday afternoon will be brighter for most places. The central region is expected to be partly cloudy at times while Jeju will be gray after a light rain in the morning. Beijing and Tokyo will be cloudy with higher daytime highs.<br /><br /> The nation's morning lows will start at 22 and 25 degrees Celsius,... Seoul beginning at 23 degrees.<br /><br /> The daytime highs have dropped after the storm effect.
