This is the moment a resident of flood-hit Kerala in India mustered the courage to shoo away a massive python which was trying to enter her home. <br /><br />She beats the ground with a stick to make the over 8-feet-long snake go away. <br /><br />Luckily, a local snake catcher came and rescued the snake. <br /><br />The incident occurred in Chengannur in Alappuzha district of Kerala, India, on August 23. <br /><br />Unprecedented floods in the state have killed more than 400 and displaced 350,000 people. <br /><br />The wildlife is also affected. There have been complaints from people in several districts that reptiles are crawling into their houses seeking shelter.
