Drivers were stunned recently in Nepal when a wild rhinoceros sauntered into the road and blocked traffic.<br /><br />A remarkable video showed the hefty creature strolling in front of cars in a residential area of Sauraha Chitwan on August 8. <br /><br />"This rhino was friendly and many local people and tourists took photos and selfies," said the filmer.<br /><br />The Indian rhinoceros is listed as "vulnerable" on the IUCN Red List.<br /><br />The animal's once huge range has been reduced drastically by hunting and agriculture to just 11 sites in northern India and southern Nepal.
