Well, can we expect some positive developments going forward.<br />I mean,... relations between Seoul and Pyongyang have thawed a lot this year... and we may be able to expect these reunions to take place more often?<br /><br /> Yeah, South Korean authorities are very eager to make that happen.<br />Throughout last week's reunions, the head of South Korea's Red Cross Park Kyung-seo was at Mount Kumgang with the families... and he met with his North Korea counterpart Pak Yong-il -- the head of North Korea's Red Cross.<br />They agreed to work to hold one more reunion within this year, possibly at the end of October,.. before it gets too cold.<br />The specifics would have to be ironed out through working-level talks,... but at least we know South and North Korea now see eye-to-eye on the need for these family reunions and their importance as a humanitarian issue. <br />
