Top military figures in Myanmar should be tried in international court.<br /> That's according to a UN report that found senior officials responsible.... for mass genocide and sex crimes against the Rohingya... carried out by troops under their command.<br />Last year, Myanmar's military launched a crackdown on the ethnic minority after militants known as the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army attacked police posts.<br />The government claims the operations targeted militant threats,... but the fact-finding report lists the military's tactics as "grossly disproportionate."<br />The UN noted the country's de facto leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, failed to intervene to stop the violence. <br />
