I'm Sure they all hold important meanings.<br />Any of them stand out?<br /><br /> Well, I could see that most families brought pictures of the past, which they would look at and talk about the years gone by.<br />They'd also take pictures together with polaroid cameras so they could exchange them right on the spot.<br /> A lot of them also exchanged their phone numbers and home addresses so they'll be ready to write to each other in the future -- if that ever becomes possible.<br />The South Korean families mostly brought daily necessities, clothing and food like ramen,... but aside from these presents, it's really the letters and photos these people find meaningful.<br />We could see quite a number of North Korean participants tear up after reading letters from their grandsons or daughters from the other side of the border. <br />
