The top diplomats of South Korea and the U.S. have reaffirmed they remain committed to the goal of achieving North Korea's fully verified denuclearization <br /> The U.S. State Department issued a press release on Monday that said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha spoke over the phone to discuss the next steps of engagement towards Pyongyang. <br />The diplomats also pledged to coordinate closely and shared the same view that pressure must continue until North Korea denuclearizes. <br />
