An Indian software engineer has developed a humanoid robot capable of speaking Hindi, Bhojpuri, Marathi and English.<br /><br />Ranjit Srivastava from the city of Ranchi, claims the robot is the world’s first Hindi speaking humanoid robot and India’s first lip-syncing robot. He developed the humanoid over the course of two years inspired by Sophia, the world’s first robot citizen.<br /><br />The footage, captured on August 25, shows the humanoid, called Rashmi, expressing gratitude to her creator Srivastava.<br /><br />Rashmi uses linguistic interpretation, artificial intelligence, visual data and facial recognition systems to act like a human.
