Former Election Commission chairperson Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman said he never asked to be made chairperson of the government-appointed Electoral Reform Committee (ERC).<br /><br />Rashid said he was enjoying his retirement before Pakatan Harapan entrusted him with the duty to deliver electoral reforms.<br /><br />Rashid was responding to the criticism surrounding his appointment.
