A ferry sailing from mainland Greece to the island of Crete was forced to stop after a fire broke out on the vessel's onboard car park.<br /><br />Passengers on the Eleftherios Venizelos ferry operated by Anek Lines were made to wait on the deck while emergency services planned their evacuation. <br /><br />The filmer, a British tourist based in Dubai, said: "I saw three fire-ships pinning the ferry to the quayside and smoke billowing out both ends ... there were people on deck still."<br /><br />No injuries have been reported and all passengers were accounted for on their disembarkation this morning at 7 am local time.
