This is the remarkable sight of around 300 buffaloes crossing southern China’s Jialing River so they could eat grass on an island.<br /><br />The clip, shot in Nanchong City in Sichuan Province on August 16, shows hundreds of buffaloes lining up to swim across the river to reach the island at dawn. <br /><br />According to reports, the phenomenon happens every day between April and October and the animals swim back to the mainland at dusk.
