<p>Hundreds of people hurled tomatoes at one another for an hour on August 29 in Bunol, Spain, during the town’s Tomato Festival (La Tomatina); an annual affair that leaves everyone very messy while giving the town an acid wash at the the same time.</p><p>The festival has been taking place since the 1940s.
