<br /> According to Reuters, the creators of This Is Spinal Tap may pursue a fraud claim against Vivendi SA.<br />The commercial entity Vivendi has owned the 1984 cult film for almost three decades.<br />On August 28th, US District Judge Dolly Gee in Los Angeles decided that Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, Rob Reiner and Harry Shearer can try to show that Vivendi’s StudioCanal unit breached a 1982 agreement.<br />That agreement including financing and production of the film, and the distribution of royalties. <br />
