MACC has seized a total of US$6.3 million in cash from several locations during its investigation into the alleged misappropriation of funds by government intelligence officers, including the unit's former chief Hasanah Abdul Hamid.<br /><br />The largest stash, a total of US$4.07 million, was found in a rented condominium in Cyberjaya last night, shortly after the arrest of a businessperson in Kelantan.<br /><br />MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Azam Baki said the commission is still looking for about US$5 million. The sum is believed to belong to the federal government.<br /><br />Speaking to reporters in Putrajaya this afternoon, Azam said investigations revealed that a total of US$12 million was brought back into the country three months ago.
