This is the unbelievable moment a handball player's throw in overtime got stuck in goalposts, agonisingly denying the team a final-minute equaliser.<br /><br />The footage filmed last Saturday (August 25) in Fürstenfeldbruck, a town in Bavaria, Germany, shows the home side celebrating after clinching the victory after a nerve-wracking final free throw - when the scores were 24-23 - gets stuck in the posts. <br /><br />After the manic celebration and reaction from the victors, Tom Wolf of HSG Konstanz, the unlucky player who threw the shot, is seen being consoled by a fellow teammate. <br /><br />A spokesman for HSG Konstanz said: "Time expired, the score stood 24:23 and then that. We've never seen it before."<br /><br />They later added "Congratulations Fürstenfeldbruck! Great ... performance. Hats off.<br /><br />"This happens once in a lifetime. Or never."
