A heavy rainstorm brought flash floods to southern China’s Shantou City on Thursday (August 30).<br /><br />Dramatic video shows houses and vehicles submerged by the flash floods and fish swimming in the floodwater.<br /><br />Firefighters are seen trying to rescue residents trapped in the flooded houses. <br /><br />Around 1,000 households were flooded and more than 100 people were evacuated, reports said.
