<p>Demonstrations continued in Chemnitz, Germany, on September 1, as right-wing anti-immigration protesters gathered in multiple rallies along with counter-protesters demonstrating for peaceful coexistence.</p><p>This footage, taken by journalist Edvard Chesnokov, shows the scene at the center of the rally. A number of participants holding German flags are visible. Chesnokov tweeted</a> that “approximately ten thousand” people were at the rally.</p><p>According to reports from Tagesschau</a>, far-right association “Pro Chemnitz” was out in full force while counter-protesters banded together under the motto “heart instead of hate” (Herz statt Hetze).
