According to Reuters, two of its journalists have been given extended jail sentences.<br />Myanmar judge Ye Lwin found two reporters guilty of breaching a law on state secrets.<br />Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo are said to have breached colonial-era Official Secrets Act. This after the two reporters collected and obtained confidential documents.<br />They have now been sentenced to seven years in jail.<br />The case is seen as a test of progress toward democracy in the Southeast Asian country. <br />
