Part of roof explodes after touching wires during Typhoon Jebi

A small explosion occurred after a piece of debris hit power lines in Osaka in the middle of Typhoon Jebi.<br /><br />Footage filmed this morning (September 4) in Japan's second city shows the electrical explosion as high winds whistle through buildings.<br /><br />The filmer writes: "During Typhoon Jebi a large piece of a structure, possibly a wall or roof, hit the overhead wires of an elevated train track. <br /><br />"The debris can be seen hanging from the wires. Suddenly one piece shorted the wires and exploded."<br /><br />The powerful storm is believed to be the strongest in Japan in 25 years.<br /><br />Up to 300,000 people were advised to evacuate as cities such as Osaka and Kyoto come under threat from the typhoon.
