At least 10 dead as Typhoon Jebi sweeps through western Japan

Typhoon Jebi hit Japan's Kansai region, located in the country's west, on September 4, killing at least 10 as strong winds and heavy rains hit the cities.<br /><br />The death toll is predicted to rise as research efforts continue underway. <br />Japan's authorities have issued evacuation advisories for more than one million people and cancelled hundreds of flights as Typhoon Jebi made landfall.<br /><br />This video, filmed on Sennichimae Street in Osaka, shows debris flying at around 2 pm.<br /><br />Weather authorities called Jebi the strongest typhoon to hit Japan since 1993, when a powerful typhoon left 48 people dead or missing.
